Broddribb Home choir visit

On Thursday, 22 June, the Toowoomba North School Choir will be presenting a Mini-Concert to the residents of Brodribb Home in Goggs Street. Not only will this be for the entertainment of the people at Brodribb, but it will also be a boost to the confidence and experience of our students. They have the opportunity to perform and to appreciate older people and what we can do for them.
Members of the choir will need to be at school on that day (the last Thursday of term) before 8.30 as we will leave at 8.40am to walk to Brodribb. Usually the staff provide some refreshments for the children after our show, then we return to school before first break.
Please encourage your child to go over their song words (they received a sheet last week) each evening before sleeping. This will ensure a good performance. I am looking forward to this as the students have been practising hard, made suggestions for our program and are very enthusiastic. Thank you for your support. A permission note will be sent out in Week 9.
