Homework provides regular reinforcement of important school concepts and builds links between home and school. Students are expected to engage in homework tasks each week and are set various learning tasks by their classroom teacher’s that are currently relevant to their studies at school.
We also encourage students to read every night at home in order to enrich their vocabulary and to establish a love of reading from early ages. Reading may take the form of independent reading, shared reading, listening to reading, reading along with a text, or being read to. Students are encouraged to select a range of fiction and non-fiction books suited to their reading ability.
